The CS Hero Fedora Hat is indeed something very special, because it is an exact copy of the hat used in the fourth movie. How is that possible? Thanks to Marc Kitter, the creator of the original Fedora hat worn by Harrison Ford in the 4th movie adventure. Back then Marc and his business partner Steve Delk (known as Adventurebilt / Deluxe) had made the hats for the movie absolutely by hand. Since Marc changed his career and left hat making behind, he not only left me, to my greatest gratitude, the original hat blocks on which the film hat was blocked, I also received insight into Marc's special techniques of hat making and know-how about the materials used.So it is possible that the adVintage CS Hero Fedora can be recreated on the original hat blocks, using the exact beaver felt (texture, special features and color) and using Marc's special hat making techniques. Even the hat lining and sweatband bow are absolutely screen accurate. However, please note that this hat is still made under the "adVintage" brand and with an adVintage sweatband made of the best cowhide leather in the correct color. With your CS Hero Fedora you will receive a numbered certificate of authenticity.About twice as many working hours go into a CS Hero Fedora as into a "normal" handmade adVintage hat made of 100% beaver felt. The MasterPiece Version of the Destiny Fedora hat is handmade from 100% best beaver felt in the felt color "Sable 23". As a "Screen Edition" I tried to recreate the look of the hat as seen on screen (especially in the scenes in Italy and Morocco). This means that the hat comes with a slightly different brim, which is curved at the sides and falls down slightly at the back. The grosgrain ribbon is slightly darker, as in the movie, but reflects warm light quite well. The crown is straight at the sides and becomes slightly narrower towards the top, and does not become wider here. The Clipper Fedora is a slightly different version of the Raider Fedora. It has a wider ribbon (choice of customer) and no Raiders Turn. The most important thing about the Clipper is the right color. In one film scene the hat looks more "grey-beige", in another more "steel-grey". With my "smoke-grey" color I have found a felt that shows exactly this colour spectrum under different light conditions.
