The Streets of Cairo Fedora hat is the most famous and most distinctive Indy hat for sure. The SoC fedora has a perfect Indy Raiders Turn (please see no 7 in the FAQ) and a mushroom shaped crown (dent above the ribbon on the right crown side). The decent version of the SoC comes with a proper bow and an askew sewn ribbon. The grosgrain ribbon is sewn on slightly upwards at the front and back. For all of you looking for the most screen accurate SoC I also offer the Hero Version. This one replicates all flaws and characteristics of the movie hat.
Everything I do to create your Fedora hat, from blocking over sewing and shaping, is completely done by hand. This Fedora will be made to order exclusively for you.
I will ask for your exact head circumference by email, when your Fedora hat is ready for production. I'll be happy to help you determine it. Your hat will then be made exactly to the millimeter (53.9 cm to 61.9 cm).
Option: Standard or Custom
In the standard version, you will receive the hat in the most iconic shape as seen in the film, made in the felt color "True-Sable," with a white satin lining and a brown sweatband made of genuine leather. This means you only need to send me your head circumference and that's it.
If you choose the "Custom" version, we can tailor the hat's details exactly to your preferences. You will have the choice between different colors for the felt and hat lining and can choose a laser engraving of the sweatband (initials, names or even texts and small pictures) or an embossing of golden letters. If required, you can also choose the crown height and brim width. Just before I start making your Fedora hat I will send you a short questionnaire by e-mail.
This Fedora will be handcrafted for you on order. The delivery time consists of a lead time (other orders ahead), production (about 10-14 days) and shipping (Germany about 3 days, Europe about 4-7 days, other countries about 20-30 days).
